Terms and Conditions of Service

1. Introduction

The services provided by LUGGAGE LOCKERS, obrt za usluge, vl. Nenad Koprivnjak, located at Ulica dr. Ante Šercera 36, Zagreb, are governed by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms are considered an integral part of every contract for storage or any other service we offer. They are binding and inseparable from the contract.

2. Definitions

  • “We,” “us,” “our”, or “staff” refers to LUGGAGE LOCKERS, vl. Nenad Koprivnjak, including its partners or associates.
  • “Customer,” “you,” or “your” refers to any individual using our services and/or holding a storage receipt.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By using our services and placing your luggage in our lockers, you agree to these Terms and Conditions on your own behalf and/or on behalf of any other party concerned — regardless of whether a storage receipt has been signed.

Any changes to these Terms must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of LUGGAGE LOCKERS, vl. Nenad Koprivnjak. Oral or unauthorized written instructions that contradict these Terms will not be recognized.

4. Use of Self-Service Lockers

Our luggage storage service involves placing your items in automated lockers for the period specified on your receipt. Key rules include:

  • No animals or perishable food items are allowed.
  • Only individuals over 18, or minors accompanied by an adult, may use the lockers.
  • Maximum weight: 30 kg (standard locker) / 60 kg (large locker).

Travel documents (e.g. ID, passports, tickets) should not be stored in lockers.

The customer is solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring their luggage complies with size and weight limits
  • Making sure the locker is properly closed before leaving
  • Not storing prohibited items

We will not be liable for issues arising from non-compliance.

No Refund Policy: Once a locker is booked and payment is completed—whether for up to 48 hours or longer—no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

5. Prohibited & Restricted Items

You may not store any items considered illegal or dangerous under Croatian law, or that may pose risks to persons, property, or the environment. Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • Animals, plants (live or dead)
  • Money, credit/debit cards, checks
  • Pornographic materials
  • Weapons, explosives or firearms
  • Electronics (phones, laptops, tablets)
  • Valuable documents or personal IDs
  • Drugs or narcotics
  • Hazardous substances
  • Precious metals, jewelry, or art
  • Oversized items

Items requiring prior written approval or a specific agreement:

  • Food, pharmaceutical products
  • Cigarettes or alcohol
  • Fragile goods (glass, bottles, etc.)
  • Biological or anatomical samples

All stored items must comply with Croatian regulations and our internal policies, which may change without notice.

6. Right of Inspection

You agree that LUGGAGE LOCKERS, vl. Nenad Koprivnjak, and/or relevant authorities may open and inspect any locker at any time for security reasons.

7. Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Credit/debit cards
  • Contactless payments (including mobile wallets)
  • Invoice bank transfer
  • Stripe payment (link/QR code)

We do not accept cash.

All payments are processed via a Nayax contactless-only POS device. Some credit or debit cards may be declined if they require PIN entry, which the device does not support. To avoid issues, please use a mobile wallet or a different card.

8. Booking Duration, Extended Storage & Late Retrieval

  • Maximum on-site booking time: 48 hours.
  • For stays longer than 48 hours, payment is required in advance via invoice and bank transfer or Stripe payment (link/QR code).

Longer bookings may qualify for special discounts.

If you do not collect your luggage within 48 hours, the booking will be converted to long-term storage (invoice bank transfer/Stripe payment is required).

If your luggage is not collected within 5 days of this conversion:

  • It will be moved to a secure facility.
  • A €50 handling fee + 50% of any unpaid balance will apply to reclaim the luggage.

No Refund Policy Reminder: No refunds are provided after locker booking and payment—regardless of reason or usage.

9. Forgotten or Unclaimed Luggage

  • Unclaimed items are securely stored for 14 days after the initial 5-day period.

After this time, the luggage will be disposed of.

If you request forwarding of your belongings:

  • A €35 handling fee + shipping costs must be paid in advance.
  • Costs vary depending on weight, destination, and courier method (e.g., regular post or UPS).

10. Complaints & Claims

All complaints must follow Croatian legal procedures.

  • Complaints must be submitted in writing within 15 calendar days from the date of luggage retrieval to: info@luggage-lockers.hr
  • Supporting documentation must be provided within the applicable legal timeframe.

Claims are processed only after all storage and related fees are fully paid.

We may inspect the contents of your baggage to process compensation claims. By submitting a claim, you agree to waive any subrogation rights by your insurance provider or other third parties once compensation is issued.

We are not responsible for missed transportation or accommodation costs due to late luggage retrieval.

In case of locker malfunction, our staff will ensure access to your belongings within 1 hour.

11. Pricing & Payment Terms

Unless agreed otherwise, all fees must be paid in full at the time of luggage retrieval.

For bookings exceeding 48 hours, full pre-payment by invoice and bank transfer or Stripe (payment link/QR code) is mandatory.
